Empowering Young Futures with Credible Messengers

Who We Are

Based in London and Sussex, Pathways Education Project is a Social Enterprise dedicated to fostering social and emotional learning (SEL) and essential life skills that bridge academic learning, personal development, and emotional wellbeing.

We believe meaningful change happens through authentic engagement. Our programmes are led by credible messengers — who draw on relevant lived experience to build trust, engage young people effectively, and support positive behavioural change. All Pathways credible messengers combine real-world insight with professional training, enhanced DBS checks, and ongoing safeguarding supervision.

Our workshops and mentoring programmes support young people with the knowledge, confidence, and life skills to make informed, positive choices and navigate challenges successfully.  We focus not just on delivering information, but on facilitating meaningful behavioural growth and increased resilience.

Pathways specialist youth mentors provide relatable guidance that resonates with young people facing adversity — including socio-economic challenges, cultural barriers, and neurodevelopmental needs such as ASC/ADHD.

Inclusion:

We are committed to inclusive practice, creating environments where students of all backgrounds feel respected, heard, and empowered.  Our programmes are designed to reflect and support the diverse needs and experiences of the communities we serve.

A world where every young person thrives with confidence, resilience, and purpose — supported by life skills, mentoring, and inclusive opportunities.

Mission

Our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential by building life skills, nurturing emotional wellbeing, and strengthening resilience through mentoring, PSHE-aligned programmes, and multi-agency collaboration. Together, we help students make positive choices that benefit themselves, their communities, and their futures.

Why This Matters

At Pathways Education Project, our vision and mission are more than words — they guide everything we do. Every young person who walks through a school door, joins a mentoring programme, or participates in one of our PSHE workshops is supported to develop the life skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience they need to thrive.

By combining evidence-based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) with credible messenger mentoring, multi-agency collaborations, and practical, real-world experiences, we help young people make safer, more informed decisions, build positive relationships, and engage confidently with education and their communities.

This approach ensures that our work not only addresses immediate challenges — such as school transitions or behavioural difficulties — but also prepares young people for long-term success, creating ripple effects that strengthen families, schools, and local communities.
