SEL & Life Skills Education Programmes
Most youth programmes are delivered by people who have studied the challenges young people face. Ours are delivered by people who have lived them.
Pathways works with schools, local authorities, and community organisations across London and Sussex — providing mentoring and social and emotional learning programmes for young people who need more than a standard approach. Our credible messenger model means the people delivering the work bring something no qualification can replicate: genuine understanding of the environments, pressures, and decisions the young people in front of them are navigating.
What We Do
We deliver two things: curriculum-aligned PSHE workshops for schools, and credible messenger mentoring for young people who need more sustained, individual support.
In practice, this can mean helping a young people understand the legal consequences of a split-second decision actually look like, and what a different path forward might feel like — from someone who has walked one. The content varies by school, year group, and individual need. The approach doesn't.
Who We Work With
We work with primary and secondary schools, local authority early help and prevention services, and community organisations across London and Sussex. In many cases we're one part of a wider network already around a young person — alongside family support workers, SENCOs, social workers, or youth offending teams.
We work collaboratively with professionals to complement — not replace — the support already in place.
Why Our Approach Works
Our programmes are led by credible messengers — practitioners who have navigated versions of the same challenges the young people in front of them are facing. That shared experience isn't incidental to the work; it's the reason the work lands. Young people who may have disengaged from every other form of support will often engage with someone who genuinely understands where they are, because they've been there. We pair that relatability with structured, safeguarding-led delivery — so sessions are not just authentic, they're purposeful.
Transforming lives via innovative programmes, designed to inspire confidence and resilience.
